Biography

Dr. Guo is a trained oceanographer and climate scientist. He integrates cutting-edge data from satellite remote sensing, in-situ observations, reanalysis products, and high-resolution global and regional models to unravel the complexities of ocean processes across multiple scales. His research examines ocean dynamics, biogeochemistry, the influence of regional and global climate variability on the ocean, the ocean’s role in the climate system, and its potential to mitigate climate change.
